Bubbly Baubles III - Kugelkranz Anleitung

Finally I have managed to finish a wreath of baubles. Actually it was my son who did it for me. It is really easy to do and if you like you can check again the original explanation where I found it here at Frau Liebe or here. And now the photos. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The first wreath I had done with glass baubles. For them you have to fix the little hooks at the top to the glass bauble with glue so they won't slide off. The second wreath here I have done with plastic baubles (they don't look too bad don't they) and the hooks sat really tight.

Jetzt habe ich endlich endlich meinen Kugelkranz fertig. Na ja, eigentlich war mein Sohn so nett und hat sich damit beschäftigt. Es ist wirklich ganz einfach und leicht nachzumachen. Wer nochmal die Original-Anleitung anschauen möchte schaut hier bei Frau Liebe oder hier nach. Und jetzt einfach die Fotos zum Nachbauen. Wenn ihr noch Fragen habt, einfach kommentieren. Ich habe den ersten Kranz mit Glaskugeln gemacht und mußte deshalb die Halterungen erst mal mit Heißkleber an der Kugel fixieren. Den zweiten Kranz hier habe ich aus Kunststoffkugeln gemacht und da saßen die Halterungen richtig fest, sodass ich gleich loslegen konnte.

Christmas Eggs - Weihnachtseier

Ok, I am again the last one to realize that I am really up to date. At least in London and anywhere else in the world just not here where I am at home in Germany. You wonder why? Let me tell you: Recently I told you that I was painting Christmas eggs and that I offer them on Dawanda and Etsy. I am totally convinced that my eggs are beautiful. But nobody else on the worldwide web has shown any interest for my eggs so far. The one M from London has now sent to me a photo and link which I would like to share with you regarding Christmas eggs. What do I tell you Heal's of London is selling Christmas Egg Baubles, much more glittery than mine however (look here photo by Heal's).

Ich bin mal wieder die Letzte, die merkt was Sache ist und bin trotzdem voll im Trend. Zumindest in London und sonstwo auf der Welt, nur nicht bei mir zuhause in Deutschland. Erklärung? Hier bitte:
Ich habe vor kurzem hier über meine Weihnachtseier berichtet und habe sie hier bei Dawanda und hier bei Etsy eingestellt. Ich bin von meinen Eiern total begeistert und meine kleine Fangemeinde hier in der Nähe auch. Aber ansonsten reagiert kein Mensch, sprich keiner aus dem weltweiten Netz, will sie bis jetzt haben. Nun hat mir das eine M aus London folgendes Bild und den link dazu geschickt. Was sagt ihr, Heal's in London hat auch Weihnachtseier, natürlich mit viel Glamour und Gloria wie es sich für London gehört (Foto von Heal's).

Dann wurde ich wirklich neugierig und habe Weihnachtseier gegoogelt. Und siehe da, hier bei Style Fifth Ave gibt es noch mehr Weihnachtseier und was für glitzerige (Foto von stylefifthavenue).


Now don't tell me that I am not totally up to date, I think I am.

Nun sag mir noch mal einer meine Weihnachtseier seien verkleidetet Ostereier. Hah, ich bin nur auf der Höhe der Zeit sprich total up to date.

Floral Christmas Presentation Part II - Adventspräsentation Teil 2

As promised last week here are the pictures of Elmar Nienstedt's floral Christmas presentation of last weekend for all of you who couldn't make it. He does of course have regular opening hours and is more than delighted to see you in his shop. There is no limit to his floral creativity and he will continuously offer floral creations for all seasons in his premises. And before I forget - if you weren't there you missed out on delicous fingerfood and cake made by his mum.





Wie versprochen für alle die, die leider nicht bei Elmar Nienstedts vorweihnachtlichem event dabei sein konnten hier die Fotos. Natürlich hat er ganz normale Öffnungszeiten und freut sich jeden Tag über Besucher. Die gezeigten Kreationen kann man selbstverständlich auch nach der Ausstellung bekommen und noch vieles mehr. Seine florale Kreativität kennt keine Grenzen. Hier nochmal die Adresse: Elmar Nienstedt, Hahlestrasse 5, in 37434 Gieboldehausen, nur ca. 25 Minuten von Göttingen entfernt. Und so sah es dann aus, wenn man das Gekaufte auch bezahlen wollte - Schlange stehen.

Floral Christmas Presentation - Adventspräsentation

At Elmar Nienstedt's Floral Boutique very close by to where I live there will be a Floral Christmas Presentation of another kind. There will be no Glühwein and no Christmas cookies but Prosecco and fingerfood and floral phantasies you probably will not have seen before. Orchids, fur (artificial of course) and feathers are going to play a major role so I have heard. If you don't have any more enticing plans for

Er freut sich auf ganz, ganz viele Besucher. Ich werde mir diese Gelegenheit natürlich auch nicht entgehen lassen. Vielleicht schaffe ich es ja, ein bisschen früher als alle anderen da zu sein um Fotos machen zu können. Denn während der Veranstaltung werde ich wohl kein Foto mehr ohne Besucherbeteiligung schießen können. Die Bilder zeige ich euch dann hier für diejenigen, die nicht kommen konnten. Ein paar Fotos vom letzten Jahr zeige ich euch schon mal so zur Einstimmung.


P.S.: Liebe M, das ist also Elmar's Reich. Schade, dass du nicht mitkommen kannst. Vielleicht schaffen wir es ja das nächste Mal auf einen kleinen Besuch bei ihm.
