Actually we have been back for a few days already but unpacking, washing, school start etc. just kept me busy. Because I can't wait to show you where we have been and how it was I will post here some photos to give you an idea of our holiday in Britany.
Eigentlich sind wir schon seit etlichen Tagen aus unserem Urlaub in der Bretagne zurück. Aber ihr wißt ja bestimmt wie das ist - auspacken, waschen, Schulanfang usw. hielten mich auf Trab. Damit es nicht noch länger dauert und ich euch doch unbedingt meine Urlaubseindrücke zeigen wollte - hier sind sie.
We were camping on the same campground we have been for the past ten years. And we still like it and are planning to go back there next year. The wheather was as usual - rain, sun, wind, rain, sun, wind and so on.
Wir waren auf dem gleichen Campingplatz wie schon die letzten zehn Jahre und werden wohl auch nächstes Jahr wieder dorthin fahren. Das Wetter war wie immer in der Bretagne - Regen, Sonne, Wind, Regen, Sonne, Wind, usw. usw.
I forgot to mention the waves. That is the main reason why the boys always want to go there - bodyboarding.
Ich vergaß ganz die Wellen zu erwähnen. Das ist der Hauptgrund, warum die Jungs dahin wollen - zum bodyboarding (keine Ahnung wie das auf deutsch heißt).
The hortensias were beautiful as every year. You find them wherever you go in all colours.
Die Hortensien waren so wunderschön wie jedes Jahr. Man findet sie überall und in allen Schattierungen.

The mussels were everywhere on our beach. Not big enough to be eaten yet but nice to look at.
Diese Muscheln gab es überall an unserem Strand. Noch nicht ganz groß genug um gegessen zu werden aber so hübsch anzuschauen.
Of course we did go out for lunch once to a small little harbour where we had this wonderful chocolate fondue as dessert.
Natürlich waren wir auch einmal in einem der kleinen französischen Restaurants essen und hatten zum Nachtisch dieses wundervolle Schokoladenfondue.
Of course, we were cooking regularly on the campground as well. We had our gas cooker with us and since we all like to eat and I like to go to all these little open markets we do eat quite well.
Selbstverständlich kochen wir natürlich auch auf dem Campingplatz. Mit meinem Gaskocher lassen sich auch hier wunderbare Gerichte zaubern. Ganz besonders haben es mir die kleinen Märkte angetan, wo man Obst und Gemüse und noch vieles mehr erstehen kann.
We cooked Indian curries and baked chapatis. We had Spanish paella and lots of fresh fruit for dessert.
Wir kochten indische Curry-Gerichte mit Chapatis. Spanische Paella und zum Nachtisch Früchte in allen Variationen.
The evenings we usually spent with friends and a glass or wine or two.
Die Abende verbrachten wir mit Freunden und einem Glas Wein oder auch mal zwei.
All in all we had a very relaxing holiday where we decided to not run or drive around but to enjoy beach, sun, waves and French food together with friends. I hope we see you all again next year.
Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr entspannten Urlaub. Wir blieben wo wir waren und beschäftigten uns nur mit Lesen, Kochen, Schwimmen und Freunden. Wir hoffen, euch nächsten Jahr alle wieder zu treffen.
